RobWords is an extremely popular YouTube channel, presented by Rob Watts, which celebrates the wonderful weirdness of the English language. His dedicated audience of word nerds love his videos about etymology, alphabets and the history of English. Rob’s love for language was established during a career as a newsreader for BBC radio and presenter on Germany’s international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle. Living in Berlin and marrying into a French family have also helped him appreciate just how special English really is, and he now shares his passion for the subject with millions across the globe.

This show will unlock the true wackiness of words and why we speak the way we do. From the origins of silent letters, to why some terms have a multitude of meanings; all of your etymological enigmas will be solved.
